After prolonged negotiations, stretching almost two years, the RBI and the European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) finally signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on cooperation and exchange of information for the recognition of central counterparties (CCPs) regulated and supervised by RBI.
