MCA extends window to contemplate the 'GIFT'ed exemption to Finance Companies

The Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Government of India has officially extended the timeline for submitting suggestions and comments on the draft notification proposing amendments to the Companies (Meetings of Board and its Powers) Rules, 2014.

New Deadline: 28th July 2025

Stakeholders now have additional time to review and respond to the proposed changes, which aim to extend certain exemptions under Section 186(11)(a) of the Companies Act, 2013 to ’Finance Company’ registered with the International Financial Services Centres Authority.
