The Maharashtra Real Estate Regulatory Authority (“MahaRERA”) has, vide its circular dated 7th June 2021 (“said Circular”), provided Standardized format for declaration about Commencement Certificate.
The said Circular provides for a format of declaration that will have to be uploaded alongside Commencement Certificate at the time of registration of the project. Since the Commencement Certificate of a project is obtained in stages, the declaration will provide clarification regarding upto which stage the commencement certificate has been obtained. The Promoter would be required to update the declaration as soon as further commencement certificate /approvals are obtained at every later stage.
The said Circular comes into effect from 7th June 2021.
